BUKI approach

BUKI stands for Building Up Knowledge Initiative. A BUKI is neither a compilation of published papers and reports or the elaboration of narrative reviews. A BUKI has two facets: a webpage that aims to provide, on focused subjects:

  • conclusions from latest reviews
  • new papers published since last review listed ASAP
  • updated comments
  • when needed/possible, integration and normalization of new data

and the elaboration of systematic reviews.

BUKI on TCEs

TCEs stands for technology-critical elements. This is a classification that goes beyond geological factors to include geopolitics, technology evolution, potential for substitutes, etc.

This BUKI deals with the environmental chemistry of TCEs.

Building a BUKI requires a lot of work. For this reason, this BUKI focuses on the following group of TCEs: Nb, Ta, Ga, In, Ge and Te. The main thing they have in common is that they have not been much studied. So, plenty to discover!

You will find a first, general overview here.

Because our time, energy and knowledge are limited, we will work element by element. Your help is welcome.
