Abstract

The DUALI/DUALPC software is designed to provide an effective means for students and researchers to input and solve control theory models of economic systems on personal computers. The software is for systems with quadratic criterion functions and linear system equations. The DUALI software provides a graphical interface which runs under Windows 95 and Windows NT and supports the solution of deterministic models and passive learning stochastic control models. Adaptive learning stochastic control models can be input in the DUALI software and then passed via a blackboard interface to the DUALPC code for solution.

The DUALI software is written in the C language and was developed in the Visual C++ environment. The DUALPC software is written in Fortran.
