The Portal environment "provides a way for enterprises to provide a consistent look and feel with access control and procedures for multiple applications and databases, which otherwise would have been different entities altogether" (as defined by Wikipedia).

In our case, it is an entry point to access the information system of the University. NTICE currently works in collaboration with the DEVM unit on a new portal based on Liferay technology that will take into account the users' needs (see report), as well as benchmarks with other universities (such as French universities part of the ESUP consortium).
