enviroSPACE is actively contributing to the broader TIGERS academic network

TIGERS' OBJECTIVES

  • Coordinate et promote the UNIGE activities that are using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS)
  • Inform on the different cursus and courses available on GIS and RS at UNIGE
  • Coordinate the means and spatial data infrastructures (SDI) for research and teaching activities
  • Provide services using GIS, RS & SDI technologies to various end users through the TIGERS partners
  • Develop a social network (physical and virtual) of people interested by Information Technologies in Geography and Environment
  • Organise a conference cycle on Information Technologies in Geography and Environment
