objective
To provide in-depth knowledge and legal expertise in international law applicable in times of armed conflict and other emergency situations
To provide a wide range of courses addressing various practical and theoretical issues related to international law in armed conflicts
To develop strong legal analysis skills relevant to a wide range of complex situations of violence
To develop both practical and theoretical legal approaches to issues related to international law in armed conflicts and other situations of violence
To provide opportunities for relevant and enriching internships in various Geneva based international organizations and NGOs
To prepare students for leadership roles in governments as well as international and non-governmental organizations
audience
People holding a full degree in law or with a strong background in law if holding a degree in another field. Candidates must demonstrate interest in the field of international law in times of armed conflict and other emergency situation. Candidates must be available 4 days a week to attend the programme.
