CAS Designing Strategies and Projects for Humanitarian Action 2019

Objectives

  • Design and adapt humanitarian strategies and projects in line with the specificities of each context
  • Provide coherent, flexible and creative humanitarian responses taking into account ethical issues, context prerogatives, as well as the humanitarian principles and organisation’s mandate

Audience

Humanitarian middle and senior manager with at least 2 or 3 years of experience as project manager or above functions
Support manager looking into joining the humanitarian sector

Programme

7 weeks:

  • PART 1: Assess and Analyse Contexts, Strategies and Needs: context Analysis and Strategic Framework, assessment
  • PART 2: Design Programmes and Projects: planning and Managing Programs/Projects, programming Interventions
  • PART 3: Evaluate Strategies and Projects: monitoring, evaluation and Learning Processes, critical Review of Strategies and Projects

This programme is part of CERAH’s training offer including one MAS, one DAS and one CAS with 5 specialisations
