Centre de REcherche sur la DIversité LInguistique de la Francophonie (CREDILIF)

Center for Multilingual Multicultural Research (CMMR)  

The CMMR, located at the University of Southern California, seeks to facilitate the research collaboration, dissemination and professional development activities of students and educational institutions. The Center provides a base for those interested in multilingual education, multicultural education and related areas.

Centro Internazionale sul Plurilinguismo (CIP)  

The International Centre for the Study of Plurilingualism of the University of Udine, Italy, is a scientific institution which aims to promote research and coordinate data collection efforts in order to foster the exchange of information and experiences related to plurilingualism. 

DYLAN  

Le projet DYLAN vise à identifier les conditions dans lesquelles la diversité linguistique de l'Europe est un atout pour le développement de la connaissance et de l'économie. 
DYLAN est un projet intégré financé dans le cadre du 6ème Programme Cadre de l'Union européenne. Le projet, d'une durée de 5 ans, regroupe 20 instituts de recherche répartis dans 12 pays européens.

European Academy of Bolzano  

The European Academy of Bolzano/Bozen is the scientific authority for South Tyrol, forging a link between the German and Italian speaking areas of the region. The Academy makes a valuable contribution to the fields of teaching and research that benefits not only South Tyrol, but also other regions. 

European Research Centre on Migration and Ethnic Relations (ERCOMER)  

ERCOMER, located at the University of Utrecht (the Netherlands), is a European research centre with a strong interest in the comparative research of international migration, ethnic relations, racism and ethnic conflict in Europe. An affiliated group of researchers from the Department of Cross-Cultural Studies in Utrecht focuses on family policy and family relations, including ethnic minority families. 

Language Policy Research Centre  

The LPRC at Bar-Ilan University in Israel carries out basic and applied research in the study of how societies deal with the demands and benefits of multilingualism. 

Language Policy Research Unit (LPRU)  

Co-directed by Professor Terrence Wiley and Dr. Wayne Wright of the University of Texas, San Antonio, the LPRU promotes research and policy analysis on the challenges and opportunities posed by national and global multilingualism. LPRU priorities include: interdisciplinary studies to promote equitable language policies in education and society; demographic studies with policy implications for language rights and preservation; historical and contemporary studies on language contact, conflict, and minority language accomodation and promotion; and media, legal and legislative analyses to inform public discourse and policy-making in state, national and international contexts.

Research Centre on Multilingualism (RCM)  

The RCM at the Katholieke Universitet Brussel focuses on language contact and conflict, multilingualism, language boundary research, and contact between national or ethnic groups; studies on minorities often centre on their protection (linguistic rights, language policies and planning, and cultural and linguistic integration). 

SUS.DIV  

SUS.DIV is a five-year project (2005-2010) that focuses on the relationship between cultural diversity and sustainable development. It integrates European research capabilities across disciplines and countries to provide our society and polity with the instruments and tools for managing cultural diversity as a key element of a new strategy for sustainable development.

UC Linguistic Minority Research Institute  

The Linguistic Minority Research Institute is a multi-campus research unit of the University of California. The website provides information to researchers, students, pratictioners, and policymakers interested in issues of language, education, and public policy, especially as these related to linguistic minorities.
