ENSEMBLES Mobility Scholarships, 2006 call for applications

In order to enable exchanges of young scientists between ENSEMBLES partner institutions,
Research Theme 8 (RT8) is setting up a Mobility Scholarship program to encourage
short visits. These
exchange programs are aimed at sharing inter-disciplinary approaches
to complex problems
that arise from and are addressed by ENSEMBLES-generated research.
In addition, the ENSEMBLES Mobility Scholarships are designed to enhance and highlight the
impact of the ENSEMBLES community in these areas of research.

Support from ENSEMBLES can be used inter alia to:

The total amount for scholarships for this call is € 5,000, so that only short exchanges will be able to be supported between
ENSEMBLES partner institutions.

Applications for ENSEMBLES Mobility Scholarships should be made on the appropriate forms that can be
downloaded by clicking here. Applicants should not be more than 35 years of age when submiting their
funding request. In addition, the time elapsed since being awarded their PhD degree should not
exceed 4 years.

A review committee will decide on the allocation of funds by early summer, and the successful candidates
will in principle be able to travel between partner institutions starting in October, 2006.
