Moocs: registration is now open


Starting this fall, the University will offer four Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) on the platform Coursera. This initiative aims to bring classes of the best universities in the world within the reach of all, with requirements for monitoring and evaluation as high as for regular students.

The format of the course is divided into three components: 1) videos of two hours per week, divided into sequences of ten minutes, a total period of four to twelve weeks for a course 2) quizzes and exercises to validate the knowledge learners and enable them to follow the following weekly module 3) monitoring of participants through a discussion forum.

Launched in 2011 by IT professors at Stanford University in the United States, MOOCs count, today, several million subscribers spread across the world. The universities involved in this pathway are among the world's most prestigious institutions. In total, more than 300 courses are currently available in five languages ​​(English, Spanish, French, Chinese and Italian) and in all fields of the humanities and natural sciences.
