- SNIS INTERNATIONAL GENEVA AWARD 2012
The Swiss Network for International Studies is pleased to inform you about the launch of the 2012 edition of the SNIS International Geneva Award.
The Award will be given to the three best papers
published on a subject related to International Studies and of
particular interest from the perspective of the Academic Council of
International Geneva.
The SNIS provides CHF 15'000 annually for the International Geneva
Award. The three awarded publications will receive up to CHF 5'000 each.
Deadline for submission: 14 May 2012.

- WIPO - UNIVERSITY OF GENEVA SUMMER SCHOOL ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY (JULY 2-13, 2012): Participation gratuite pour 5 étudiants de l'Unige
Après le succès rencontré par la première édition en juillet 2011, l’Université de Genève et l’Organisation Mondiale de la Propriété intellectuelle (OMPI) ont le plaisir d’annoncer la deuxième édition de la WIPO - University of Geneva Summer School on Intellectual Property qui aura lieu du 2 au 13 juillet 2012.
L’objectif de la Summer School est de permettre à ses participants d'acquérir une connaissance plus approfondie de la propriété intellectuelle et de comprendre le rôle joué par celle-ci en tant qu’instrument de développement économique, social, culturel et technologique ainsi que les tâches de l’OMPI dans la gestion globale de la propriété intellectuelle, les cours étant donnés (en anglais) par des experts de l’OMPI et de l’Université (particulièrement de la Faculté de droit).
Comme l’année dernière, cinq étudiants immatriculés à l’Université de Genève ont la possibilité de participer gratuitement à la summer school, les dossiers de candidature devant être déposés d’ici au 10 avril 2012, selon les modalités décrites à : www.unige.ch/wiposummerschool. Outre les candidatures d’étudiants de la Faculté de droit, celles provenant d’étudiants d’autres Facultés sont aussi bienvenues, la summer school visant précisément à rassembler un groupe d’étudiants diversifié dans une perspective
