From Calvin to e-learning

Heir to the legacy of Jean Calvin, the Autonomous Faculty of Protestant Theology studies the sources, the discourses, and the practices of Christianity. In addition to this prestigious history, however, it is also the only faculty of theology in the French-speaking world to feature a complete bachelor’s programme by correspondence (bachelor by e-learning). Future pastors and students from all walks of life and religious convictions, are trained in an environment of intellectual freedom and dialogue. Together with the Faculties of Theology at the Universities of Lausanne and Neuchâtel, the Faculty offers a cutting-edge theological education, in the form of both a bachelor’s and a master’s programme.
