Arrival in Geneva
If you arrive by air at Geneva International Airport
The International Relations Office has no means to come and pick you up at Geneva International Airport. You will have to go to the city by yourself, which is quite simple.
The first thing to do is to pick up a free ticket for the Geneva public transportation system ("Transports Publics Genevois - TPG") from the Unireso machine in the baggage collection area at the Arrival level (see picture below). This Unireso ticket, offered by Geneva International Airport, allows you to use public transport in Geneva free for a period of 80 minutes (1h20).

Then walk to the airport railway station and take the first train leaving. All trains stop at Geneva main station ("Gare Cornavin"), which is the first stop. The ride takes 8 minutes.
If you arrive by train
At the railway station (Gare Cornavin), you will find many trams and busses which will take you to your final destination (taxis are quite expensive).
For instance, to go to:
- BLRU: Tram No 13 direction "Palettes",
or Tram No 14 direction "Bachet-de-Pesay",
or Tram No 15 direction "Palettes"
stop at "Plainpalais" (ride = 8 minutes) - Cité Universitaire: Bus No 3 direction "Crêts-de-Champel"
stop at "Crêts-de-Champel" (ride = 23 minutes) - International Relations Office: Tram No 15 direction "Palettes"
stop at "Uni-Mail" (ride = 9 minutes) - RUI: Bus No 1 direction "Jardin Botanique",
stop at "Gautier" (ride = 4 minutes)
