Research Interests / Recherches
Arnaud holds a BA in English and History and an MA in English Language and Literature from the University of Geneva. His research interests lie in the literary representations of the relationship between body and environment. Arnaud contends that, in literature as in life, organisms cannot be studied independently from their environment: they form a dual entity that should be at the center of literary analysis. His doctoral thesis draws on neurosciences, cognitive psychology, anthropology and postcolonial studies and is entitled “The interaction of organism and environment in postcolonial literatures”.
