Research Interests / Recherches

Eva Waltermann holds a Licence from the University of Geneva in English, Computer Science and General Linguistics. She then completed her degree with a M.A. in English Linguistics, specializing in sociolinguistics and language teaching, and is now finishing a M.A.S at the University Teacher Training Insititute (IUFE) in Geneva and starting a doctorate. Her main interests concern the link between linguistics and language teaching, the importance of language awareness in the learning of a second or third language, and the influence of teacher’s knowledge and beliefs on their teaching. Along with this, Eva is also a part-time teacher in a secondary school.
