Research Interests / Recherches

Audrey’s research interests are in modern French and other European literatures, with a particular focus on the work of Marcel Proust. She has developed a keen interest in comparative literature over the years, having studied Classics (BA, Bordeaux) and German philology (BA, Bordeaux and Hamburg). She continued her studies at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon (ENS-Lyon) which led to a MA in comparative literature. She also holds a MA from the University of Paris IV, La Sorbonne. Her doctoral thesis explores the nature and discourse of error in Proust’s work.
