Research Interests / Recherches

Lic. phil. Rahel Orgis holds a degree in English and American Literature, French Literature and French Linguistics from the University of Berne, as well as a grammar school teacher's certificate in English and French. She taught English at the grammar school and the commercial school Thun-Schadau for five years before working as an assistant at the English Institute of the University of Neuchâtel. She is currently completing her doctoral thesis on Lady Mary Wroth's Urania at the University of Neuchâtel under the supervision of Professor Margaret Tudeau-Clayton. Her research interests include: Early Modern English Literature, especially poetry and romance, and Lady Mary Wroth.
