François Jaquet

Postdoctoral researcher

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the project “Beyond Sacrificial Dilemmas: Broadening the Psychology of Consequentialism”. Previously, I received a PhD from the University of Geneva. In my thesis, which was supervised by Prof. Julien Deonna, I discussed the normative implications of the moral error theory. More specifically, I argued that if we believe that all moral judgments are false (as we should), we should also make-believe in a utilitarian moral fiction.
