Conference: Philosophical knowledge Conférence: La connaissance philosophique

The day conference will bring together two major contemporary philosophers
whose recent research has focused on philosophical knowledge:
Prof. Jacques Bouveresse (Chaire de Philosophie du Langage
et de la Connaissance, Collège de France) and Prof. Timothy Williamson (Wykeham Professor of Logic, Oxford University). The conference is organised
by the Episteme group in Geneva, and is
part of
Knowledge, Reasons and Norms project funded by the
Swiss National Fund.
La journée "Connaissance Philosophique" réunira deux philosophes contemporains
majeurs dont les recherches récentes ont été consacrées au thème de la
connaissance philosophique: les
professeurs Jacques Bouveresse (Chaire de Philosophie du Langage
et de la Connaissance, Collège de France) et Timothy Williamson (Wykeham Professor of Logic, Oxford University). La conférence est

To get there from the airport, the simplest and quickest way is to take a train.
Follow the sign "Geneve - Centre" at the airport train station and take any train, they all stop at the
main train station (first stop). Then take the tram as indicated below. (40 min, ticket 3 CHF or 2eur to be
bought at the airport train station. The ticket covers the tram journey as well.)
To get there from the train station,
take trams 15 direction Palettes, stop at Uni-Mail. Alternatively,
take trams 13 (dir. Palettes) or 12 (dir. Bachet-de-Pesay) and stop at Pont d'Arve.
(10 mins, ticket 3 CHF or 2eur to be bought at the tram stop.)

(depature floor, the stop is outside on your left), and get off at Bel'Air. From the same bus stop,
take bus 7 and get off at Rive. Walk on your right, pass the "Fnac" store, and
take the first street on your left (rue Verdaine, it goes uphill). The hotel sign is visible there
but the entrance is on the small street that goes along the hotel on your left (rue de la Vallée).

Alternatively, you can take a train to the main train station and follow the directions below.
To get there from the train station, take tram 16 direction Moillesulaz to Rive. Then walk

It is also a nice 20 min walk from the train station through the Mont Blanc bridge.
