INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL

Manuscripts should be sent in duplicate to one of the editors, or as a computer file to the following address: EnsMath@unige.ch.

We insist on the use of AMS-TeX or AMS-LaTeX with the macros of L’Enseignement Mathématique. After a manuscript has been accepted for publication, the corresponding TeX file should be transferred electronically to the following address: EnsMath@unige.ch.

AMS-TeX:
Our macros are contained in the file: ensmath.tex (or, for easier downloading ensmath.txt: 33 K)
(Version for "Textures": ensmath_mac.tex or ensmath_mac.txt)

A detailed set of instructions is available (in French):

together with a model file modelams.tex (modelams.txt: 4 K; postscript file modelams.ps: 84 K)

As indicated in the instructions, we recommend using the additional macros contained in the file: macutil.tex (or macutil.txt: 11 K)

AMS-LaTeX:
Our macros are contained in the file: ensmath.cls: 52 K
(Version for "Textures": ensmath_mac.cls)

A detailed set of instructions is available (in French):

together with a model file modellat.tex (modellat.txt: 4 K; postscript file modellat.ps: 173 K)

As indicated in the instructions, we recommend using the additional macros contained in the file: EMutil.sty: 11 K

All issues of L’Enseignement Mathématique have been digitized from printed originals and recently made available on the web. The full text (since 1899) will be accessible freely at the address http://retro.seals.ch, though not earlier than five years after each volume is printed.

By submitting their manuscript, the authors agree on the following principles:

The Journal owns all the rights attached to the publication (copyright). The authors are naturally responsible for the scientific content of their contributions. The aim of the publication is to make their work known and to protect their rights by allowing them to establish their priority. The digitized version enables them principally to improve the dissemination of their results, through space and time.

Authors receive 50 free reprints. Further reprints can be obtained at cost price and must be prepaid. They should be ordered when returning the proofs.
