of phase transition in the monomer-dimer model

In
this talk, I will (re)call a few notions from statistical mechanic (phase
transition, infinite volume measure, boundary conditions...) and present
an approach called disagreement percolation to prove absence of phase
transition in some models. Everything will be seen through the
monomer-dimer model for which the above-mentioned argument carries out
very nicely.
