This joint workshop of the Swiss and German mathematical societies will focus on recent developments in geometric group theory that are all, in one way or another, related to spectral theory. The topics featured at the workshop will include L2-invariants of groups and group actions, invariant random subgroups and uniform recurrent subgroups, Schreier graphs, tilings and the theory of aperiodic order.

The workshop will be held at the University of Geneva. The venue is the Uni Mail site, room M S160. See the map here.
