Curriculum vitae

Angela Martin a étudié la philosophie et la littérature générale et comparée aux universités de Bâle, Lucerne, Zurich et Fribourg. Elle a obtenu son Master of Arts à l’université de Fribourg en 2010 (spécialisation : Éthique et philosophie politique) avec un travail de master sur les arguments qui se basent sur la dignité humaine dans le débat sur le suicide (Directrice : Prof. Dr. Simone Zurbuchen).

Dès 2010, elle travaille comme assistante à l’institut d’éthique biomédicale à Genève dans le projet  ENABLE financé par le Fonds National Suisse. Sa recherche concerne le concept de la vulnérabilité dans les soins de santé.

Elle prépare une thèse sur la définition de la vulnérabilité et ses implications pour la bioéthique et l'éthique animale, qui sera dirigée par Bernard Baertschi et Samia Hurst. Ses autres intérêts touchent les questions concernant le début et la fin de la vie, l’éthique animale, la philosophie de droit et le mind-body problem.
