Daniel Muscionico completed his Pharmacy studies in Geneva, Switzerland and received his federal degree in 1990. A few years later he specialized in public health and earned an MPH degree (Master of Public Health) in 1999.

As part of his business activities Daniel is confronted daily with health economics issues. He graduated in 2005 at the Geneva School of Economics and Management earning a Masters in Business Administration degree (MBA) specializing in management control. His dissertation topic related to Managed Care and new compensation models in healthcare systems such as capitation.

He is lecturer at the Institute of Global Health and delivers courses in public health and health economics to students following the Master of Pharmacy curriculum.

In addition to his professional activities he sits on the board of pharmaGenève , the Geneva pharmacists association, where he is involved in health promotion campaigns and projects.

Daniel also contributes to several national eHealth and Big data projects and has a particular interest in data protection and patient rights issues.
