[520] Mécanismes cellulaires de la dépendance et de l'addiction

Our lab is interested in elucidating cellular mechanisms of reward, dependence and addiction . We believe that the core of the diseases can be understood as neuroadaptive changes and pathological associative learning. We therefore focus on various forms of neuronal plasticity in structures of the mesolimbic reward system. We use electrophysiology (whole cell patch clamp) and imaging in acute slices of rodents in combination with pharmacological, genetic and molecular tools.
