Filming at UNIGE
Video and shootings inside university buildings are subject to authorization issued by the Communications Department.
Filming for commercial purposes (advertisments, corporate movies) isn’t allowed on UNIGE premises.
An authorisation is required for:
- filming for the media
- filming for cultural or scientific purposes, including fiction films.
Requests that do not fall within the above-mentioned categories are examined on a case-by-case basis.
The UNIGE does not charge for filming as such, but charges may be levied for room hire, the provision of equipment, security costs and other costs induced by the filming.
The Communication Department of the University of Geneva is available to the media for organizing filming and photo shoots.
