FP7 - Marie Curie Individual Fellowships Applications
Some keypoints
Marie Curie Individual Fellowships (IxF) include
- Intra-European Fellowships (IEF),
- International Incoming Fellowships (IIF),
- International Outgoing Fellowships (IOF).
Eligibility
- The approach is "bottom-up" i.e. the subject of the research is chosen by the applicant;
- For Individual fellowships, the minimum requested to be eligible is to have a PhD or 4 years full time research experience after obtaining a degree permitting him to embark on a doctorate;
- The aim of Marie Curie Action is to cross a border; nevertheless you can stay in your current host institution if you spent less than 12 months in the last 3 years before the call deadline;
- The time limit to fulfil the above conditions is the date of the relevant call deadline.
Submission
- Electronic submission mandatory, via Participant portal's calls section
- Attention DEADLINES, which are totally strict;
- Do not submit at last moment but submit a pre-final version already 2-3 days before the deadline (final submission possible until deadline);
- Consult the EC-REA INSTRUCTIONS AND CHECKLISTS (cf. Guide for applicants - Common part, etc.) and the Euresearch checklists before finalising/submitting the proposal;
- Press the "Submit" button ...!

- Marie Curie fellows/researchers are employed under an employment contract with full security coverage (Type A in Proposal Form A4, 100% employment which corresponds to 12 person months for each year).
