High Throughput/Content Screening & Flow Cytometry Cell Sorting Facility

Website_bandeau_lateral_2.pngACCESS Geneva is a facility specialized in Automated microscopy,  High-content screening (HCS), High-throughput screening (HTS) and Flow cytometry cell sorting (FACS). We provide infrastructure and know-how to deliver projects from Swiss academia or industry and offer a fully automated station with state-of-the-art equipment, technology and methodology. Established in 2015, the facility is based at the Biochemistry department of the University of Geneva.

Image-based screening and automated microscopy allows the precise identification and quantification of very diverse phenotypes from most of current biological models. Screening projects involve several types of models perturbations such as RNA interference, small molecules or mutations to study very diverse biological processes. The technology allows then a very fast and robust identification and quantification of unpredicted phenotypes.
