My major research interests relate to molecular evolution and ecology of Foraminifera, a group of typically shelled protists, ubiquitous in all marine habitats. Because of the extensive knowledge of foraminiferal fossil record, this group constitue an ideal model for study of evolutionary and ecological processes in time and space.
