Welcome to the Microbiology Unit
The Microbiology Unit at the University of Geneva brings together the Laboratory of Molecular Bacteriology and the Institute of Microbiology of SUPSI, with the groups of Microbial Ecology (Nicola Storelli) and Biosafety (Mauro Tonolla). Integrated within the Section of Biology (BIVEG department), this unit collaborates closely with other microbiology groups at the University of Geneva (Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Sciences), whether for research, teaching, or community service. The Microbiology Unit has also the mission of promoting microbiology.
