English is the language of the group and the department, knowledge of French is not required for a fruitful postdoc experience.  Enthusiasm for multistep organic synthesis is important (exceptions are possible).  Similarly important is a broad horizon, “scientific breath,” and optional interest for research at the interface of biological, supramolecular and/or materials chemistry (photosystems, transport, sensing).
