XRF preparation

We prepare samples for major and trace element analysis in the XRF laboratory of University of Lausanne (http://www.unil.ch/img/page11005_en.html). Major elements are measured on fused disks, trace elements on pressed powder pellets. The laboratory uses automatic agate mills to obtain finest rock powders suitable for XRF analysis.
