Carlo Edoardo Altamura, born in Milan, Italy, in 1985. In 2007, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Institutions and Financial Market Management from “L. Bocconi” University in Milan. In 2009, he graduated with a Master’s degree in Socioeconomics from the University of Geneva, Switzerland. In 2010, Mr Altamura started a joint PhD in Economic and Social History at the University of Geneva and Uppsala, Sweden, with a thesis named :” Financial Practices in Europe and the Euromarkets (1973-1982): a Comparative Analysis” (working title), under the supervision of Professor Youssef Cassis, European University Institute, Florence and Professor Mats Larsson, Uppsala University, Sweden.
C. Edoardo Altamura is a Teaching Assistant at the “Paul Bairoch” Institute of the University of Geneva since October 2010. His interests lie mainly in post-war international financial and banking history.
