This Master of Science program offers a degree course in Statistics aimed at specialists and non-specialists alike. Emphasis is placed on data analysis, applied methods in a variety of disciplines and statistical software. Mathematical statistics is also an important component of the Methodology option. The Master of Science in Statistics degree is recommended not only to specialists wishing to broaden their theoretical knowledge for further work in statistical research but for non-specialists as well who wish to acquire further knowledge of data analysis and apply it to their area of specialization developed at the Bachelor's level. The main specialty areas are economics, social and human sciences but students from other disciplines are welcome as well.
