Doctoral Courses in Applied Economics and Econometrics

Objectives:

To teach advanced econometric methods with a strong focus on applications.
To teach specialized topics in applied economics.
To give hands-on experience with real data.
To enable interaction among Ph.D. students from different universities.
To enable students to meet with experts in their field of research.
To give practice in presentation of research papers.

Prospective Students:

The courses are primarily intended for Ph.D. students of the four partner universities as well as other affiliated institutions such as IUHEI, EPFL (economics section) and IDHEAP.

They are also open to all interested Ph.D. students in Economics and other Social Sciences, from all Swiss Universities and abroad.
