Objectives

The Master of Science in Economics at the University of Geneva is a graduate program offering higher education in economics and econometrics, as well as a wide choice of specialization opportunities in advanced topics of economics and econometrics. It allows student to specialize in any of the following areas : 

  • International Economics
  • Econometrics
  • Monetary and Financial Economics
  • Labor Economics
  • Macroeconomics (Joint Master program Geneva-Louvain-Namur)

Main Features

  • 120 Credits ECTS in 4 semesters.
  • Language of instruction: English.
  • Possibility to choose one specialization area among four.
  • Possibility to spend the third semester of the MSc program in another University.
  • Possibility to link the Master's dissertation (30 credits) to an internship.
  • Application deadline: February 28, each year. 
  • Tuition fees: CHF 500.- per semester.
