EDA implementations/System specific information

This section contains information of machine specific aspects of the EDA system. Note that EDA has been implemented on a series of other machines, but the author has not (yet) received implementation notices. [EDA is entirely written in FORTRAN 77 and is portable].

For a number of systems enhanced versions have been created. There is information for the following systems:

EDA for PCs
EDA for PR1ME computers
EDA for DEC/VMS.
EDA for Unisys computers
EDA for multics computers

Getting system specific information

> To find out if there are system dependent features, type HELP SYSTEM and when calling EDA use the EDA /HELP command line. If you wish to find out whether on your system some EDA specific special characters are different at your site, type STATUS SPECIAL.
