Manuel Fischer has been a teaching assistant at the department of political science and international relations since august 2011. In 2011, he got a PhD from the University of Geneva (“Decision-making structures in Swiss politics at the beginning of the 21. Century”, supervisor: Pascal Sciarini). After his Master’s degree in 2007, he was working as a research assistant within the research project "The Swiss decision-making system in the 21st century: power, institutions, conflicts" at the University of Geneva and was a visiting scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (USA) with a "Young Scholar Scholarship" from the Swiss Science Foundation. Manuel Fischer is a co-organizer of the conference "Application of Social Network Analysis" (www.asna.ch) taking place at the University of Zurich.
