Geneva Science-Policy Interface
Science for global impact
Launched in October 2018 by the University of Geneva with the support of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, the Geneva Science Policy Interface (SPI) is a decision-making support system connecting international organisations with the latest knowledge, technology and evidence produced by scientific institutions.
Based in Geneva, a global hub of multilateral diplomacy, the Geneva SPI services the rich and diverse community of international organisations, diplomatic missions and international non-governmental organisations. Building on a global network of leading research institutions, it harnesses the breadth of interdisciplinary evidence, knowledge, competencies and perspectives that are essential for tackling complex global issues and multifaceted societal challenges. It further engages the private and philanthropic sector to make impactful collaborations possible.
