Conditions for enrollment for the 2021–22 academic year

For the rest of the procedure, please follow the indications on the Pre-Enrollment Certificate sent by email.

  • Candidates currently resitting an examination in order to comply with our conditions of enrollment

If you cannot resit the examination(s) that you failed and will not meet the conditions of enrollment, you cannot enroll for the 2021–22 academic year. You can reactivate your application next year.

  • ECUS

Currently, the date of the French exam has not changed. The payment details on the Pre-Enrollment Certificate sent by email are also unchanged.

Obtaining a visa

Please consult the State Secretariat for Migration's website and contact the Swiss representation in your country for further information. The Admissions Office cannot intervene on behalf of candidates. We cannot provide you with any documents other than the Pre-Enrollment Certificate sent by email.

Entry into Switzerland

If your government allows it and if you meet the entry requirements (visa obtained if necessary...), you should have no problem coming to Switzerland. The following site will give you more information: Entry of third-country nationals for the purpose of training or further education (nationals of non-EU/EFTA states).
There are two possible scenarios upon arrival :

  1. You come from a country considered to be safe, in this case you just have to follow the health rules in force;
  2. You come from a country mentioned on the list established by the Confederation and you must carry out a 10-day quarantine. The list of countries as well as the details concerning the quarantine can be found on the website of the Confederation; this list is evolving, so please consult it regularly. The important points to take into account are the following:
    • The journey from your place of arrival to your quarantine location can be done by public transport, wearing a protective mask ;
    • You must wear a face mask at all times, even at your place of residence, unless you live alone;
    • You have two days to announce your arrival to the canton;
    • The costs related to the quarantine and its organization are your responsibility; click here for information on platforms for food delivery and on this site (both in French).

enrollment confirmation

Please go to the web link on the Pre-Enrollment Certificate sent by email, and follow the procedure indicated.

New students must have confirmed their registration by Friday October 1st, otherwise it will not be possible to start the academic year (unless exceptions are duly justified and accepted by the faculty/institute/centre/school concerned).
