Opening hours and receptions conditions

The spaces of the Library are open to the UNIGE-HUG community as well as to the external public according to the following hours:

• Monday-Friday: 8 am-10pm
• Saturday-Sunday: 9 am-6pm

Library will be open on September 10 (jeûne genevois day), from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. except the Uni Mail site which will be closed from September 7 to 13, 2020 due to lighting work.

Receptions conditions on Library

To ensure safety and that you can work comfortably in the library while maintaining social distancing, work places have been spread out and the library’s capacity has been reduced.

Given the reduction of library's capacity, members of the UNIGE/HUG community will given priority access to seated spots, particularly during periods of busy times. In this case, the multiservice student card may be requested. These provisions may be re-evaluated at any time, depending on changes in attendance.

Since August 24, you must wear a face mask when moving around the library as well as all UNIGE buildings. If you are in the library, you are therefore authorized to remove your face mask once you are seated and if social distance of 1,5 meters is respected. You must put it on again when you stand up to leave.
