Pre-registration & Registered Reports
How to improve the credibility and reproducibility of your research
co-organised with the local Node of the Swiss Reproducibility Network
Description
Goal : Knowing why it is useful to pre-register your research and the tools to do it
Description : In response to certain well-known biases affecting scientific publishing, new models have been emerging for several years now. This is particularly the case of "pre-registration" or "registered reports" which aim to increase the reliability and credibility of research by encouraging the description of hypotheses, methodologies and sometimes by reversing the traditional process of scientific publishing. Co-organised with the local group of the Swiss Reproducibility Network, this workshop mixes theory with feedback from researchers having experienced preregistration and registered reports.
