Le CIDE choisit des photos d’Yves Leresche pour renforcer son identité visuelle

Afin de renforcer son identité visuelle, le CIDE va poursuivre sa collaboration avec le photographe lausannois Yves Leresche. Une trentaine de photos issues de ses séries « Rroms », « Roms, la quête infatigable du paradis » et « Roma realities » seront utilisées ces prochaines années pour illustrer les différentes activités de recherche, formations et évènements académiques du CIDE.

Yves Leresche est connu pour ses reportages en immersion dans la communauté Rrom dont il a partagé la vie pendant de nombreuses années en Roumanie et dans les Balkans. Ces photos seront récompensées notamment par un prix du World Press Photo en 1997. Photographe indépendant, il vit et travaille à Lausanne. Ses reportages sont publiés par divers titres de la presse de Suisse romande. En 2020, il a reçu le Swiss Pres Photo Award dans la catégorie Actualité pour ses photos publiées dans l’Illustré sur la Grève des femmes à Lausanne.

The Centre selects a series of photos by Yves Leresche to reinforce its visual identity

To strengthen its visual identity, the Centre for Children’s Rights Studies will continue its collaboration with the Lausanne-based photographer Yves Leresche. About thirty photos from his series "Rroms", "Roma, the tireless quest for paradise" and "Roma realities" will be used in the coming years to illustrate the Centre’s various research activities, training courses and academic events.

Yves Leresche is known for his immersive reporting on the Rrom community, whose life he shared for many years in Romania and the Balkans. These photos were awarded a World Press Photo prize in 1997. A freelance photographer, he lives and works in Lausanne. His reports are published by various press titles in French-speaking Switzerland. In 2020, he received the Swiss Press Photo Award in the News category for his photos published in L'Illustré on the women's strike in Lausanne.
