Elena Patrizi holds a Master of Law from the University of Urbino, Italy (2013) and an LLM in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights from the Geneva Academy, Switzerland (2016). She is PhD candidate at the University of Geneva’s Centre for Children’s Rights Studies in Sion, Switzerland, where she works as research assistant of the Master of Advanced Studies in Children’s Rights (MCR).

Her doctoral research focuses on the emerging fields of children’s rights and transitional justice. She previously assisted Prof. Karl Hanson in the teaching of two courses of the Interdisciplinary Master’s in Children’s Rights (2017-2018). She also worked as assistant during the Geneva Summer School 2017 “Children at the heart of human rights”.
