Thesis topic : My current project aims to investigate the effect of a common brain malformation (developmental absence of the corpus callosum, known as callosal agenesis) on cognition and brain functions in children and adolescents.
My field of interest is developmental cognitive neuroscience. My current research project aims to investigate the effect of agenesis of the corpus callosum (a common brain malformation) on cognitive and brain functions in children and adolescents in a large cohort. I use behavioural measures combined with structural and functional neuroimaging measures to examine brain plasticity and compensation mechanisms that occur following an early brain lesion to support positive cognitive outcomes.
