General Information

I obtained a Master degree in Computer Science Image in Lyon and Geneva where I worked on different projects (3D sound, facial animation, medical project using EMG on the hip joint...). Wishing to understand better human brain and to contribute to its discovering, I am now starting a PhD in neuroscience under the supervision of Patrick Vuilleumier (labnic, CMU) and Didier Grandjean (CISA). I am now working on emotions elicited by olfaction using new techniques with a thermal camera. I will work on new techniques based on thermography to recognize emotions by face skin temperature variations (associated to vasodilatations and vasoconstrictions), to understand the processing of blushing and pallor, to study olfactory processing to provoke emotions. Other modalities will be investigated (EMG, EEG...). And the results will be compared to emotions induced by other kind of stimuli (visual, sound..)
