Florian Cova graduated both in Moral Philosophy (Paris IV University, Ecole Normale Supérieure) and Cognitive Psychology (Paris V University, Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales). At Institut Jean Nicod, in Paris, he wrote his PhD thesis under the supervision of Pierre Jacob and Emmanuel Dupoux, on the architecture of moral cognition. He joined the Swiss Centre in Affective Sciences in 2011.

Current Research

Florian Cova is currently investigating the role played by emotions (like anger or disgust) in the generation of moral judgment, as well as the mapping of the moral domain on the emotional domain. He is a postdoctoral researcher in the Moral Emotions Focus.
