Hameçonnage par invitations Outlook

[English version below]

Besoin d’aide ?

Nous vous remercions pour votre attention.

Avec nos meilleures salutations,

Division STIC

Dear members of the university community,

Phishing attempts have become common and increasingly sophisticated. It is important to be informed and to know how best to react if you are targeted.

We have recently noticed that e-mails containing Outlook invitations as attachments(.ics extension) are being sent to the UNIGE e-mail accounts of certain users. The invitation is automatically reflected in the Outlook calendar.

Do the right thing:

  • Do not click on the hyperlinks and do not open the attachment.
  • Delete the e-mail and the Outlook invitation from the calendar.
Caution: do not refuse the invitation, as this will result in a reply to the sender.
  • Report this case to our IT support platform.

Do you need help?

Thank you for your attention.

With our best regards,

IT Division
