Bálint is a PhD student in the group of Prof. Tobias Golling at the Particle Physics Department (DPNC), jointly supervised by Prof. François Fleuret at the Computer Science Department. He is a member of the RODEM project (Robust Deep Density Models for High-Energy Physics and Solar Physics).

Bálint graduated from the University of Hamburg, Germany, with an MSc in mathematical physics. His research interests include generative models, geometric methods and applications of ML in the sciences.
