Mara Tignino is invited as a speaker at the Regional Roudtable on “Strenghtening Public Participation in Transboundary Water Management: Exploring the Synergies of the Espoo, Helsinki and Aarhus Conventions” which takes place in Tirana (Albania).

Her interventions are on “Introduction of the Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context (Espoo Convention) and the Convention on the Protection and Use of Transboundary Watercourses and International Lakes (Helsinki Convention)” and “The Role of Public Participation in the Implementation and Support of the Espoo and Helsinki Conventions and Synergies with the Aarhus Convention”. 

The Roundtable is organised by the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the Environment and Security Initiative (ENVSEC) and the Austrian Development Agency.
