Alejandro Peña-Bello is a Ph.D. candidate at University of Geneva since June 2017. Alejandro received his B.Eng. degree in Electronic Engineering and M.Sc. in Economics from National University of Colombia in 2011 and 2014, respectively. In 2010 he earned his I.T. Diploma in the I.U.T. 2 of the Pierre Mendès-France University in Grenoble, France, where he passed one academic year. In 2014, he moved to Geneva to carry out his Master studies in Environmental Sciences at University of Geneva. After having successfully completed his Master’s thesis, he joined the Chair for Energy Efficiency at University of Geneva. His Ph.D. thesis deals with the assessment of battery systems at the local level by using environmental and techno-economic optimization.
